SubZero ("we", "us", "the app") helps you track and manage your recurring subscriptions. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. It applies to the SubZero iOS app and any associated services.

Information we collect

• Account information — if you create an account, we collect your name and email address.
• Subscription data you enter — names, prices, billing cycles, categories, and payment dates for the subscriptions you choose to add. This data is used solely to power the app's dashboard, reminders, and savings features.
• Purchase information — if you subscribe to SubZero Premium, the purchase is processed entirely by Apple through In-App Purchase. We do not receive or store your payment card details; Apple shares only the subscription status needed to unlock Premium features.
• Usage data — basic, non-identifying analytics (e.g. crash reports, feature usage) may be collected to help us improve the app.

How we use this information

We use the information above to operate the app's core features (spending dashboard, payment reminders, savings tracker), to provide Premium features (AI spending insights, cancellation guides, bill negotiation suggestions, savings goals) to subscribers, to maintain and improve the app, and to respond to support requests.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not access your actual bank, card, or subscription-provider accounts — SubZero only stores the subscription details you manually enter.

Data storage and retention

Your subscription data is stored on your device and, if you're signed in, synced securely to power cross-device access. You can delete individual subscriptions at any time from within the app. If you delete your account, your associated data is removed from our systems within a reasonable period.

Third parties

Apple processes all in-app purchases under its own privacy policy. We may use standard infrastructure providers (e.g. cloud hosting, crash reporting) that process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations — they do not use your data for their own purposes.

Your choices

• You can edit or delete any subscription you've added at any time.
• You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by contacting us below.
• You can manage or cancel your Premium subscription at any time via your Apple ID subscription settings.

Children's privacy

SubZero is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
